For almost 2 years I volunteered with Fundación SURA in an impoverished town of La Cruz in Colombia, I had the opportunity to work closely with a school for kids ages 4 to 14. Through my lens, I captured the joy and resilience of these children despite the challenging circumstances they faced on a daily basis. My goal was to not only document their stories, but to also raise awareness and support the important work being done in their community.
